RADIO PRODUCTION

 

Seven years of experience across five national BBC radio stations, Amy has a proven record of overhauling programming and increasing reach.  

 

Currently  Producer for BBC Radio1 and 1Xtra, Amy has worked across 30 programmes, including 'Radio 1 Breakfast' and 'Drive', to Radio 2's 'Weekend Wogan' (Terry Wogan).  


During her time producing entertainment shows at BBC Asian Network, listening figures for her show rose 108% (RAJAR). 


As Producer for United Nations led Global Goals project Radio Everyone, Amy worked with Trevor Nelson and Jo Wiley to devise and deliver all BBC contrabutions.


Amy was shortlisted for 'Unsung Hero' at the BBC Audio Awards 2019.

TELEVISION PRODUCTION

 

One of Amy’s proudest achievments was a documentary on children’s education in Pakistan. Whilst on location in Asia, Amy managed the team, liaised with authorities and directed editing. 
 

Lead location Producer for Shine, a live magazine style programme that broadcast worldwide; Amy created news and entertainment packages for two years.

 

She later went on to Produce and Present two graduate employment programmes for HSBC, broadcasting from 12 UK Cities.

 

A degree in Media and Performance afforded Amy a sound foundation in production, visual editing, media law and studio / gallery management. Amy tailored her degree to Broadcast Journalism, achieving first class honour’s in Radio and Analytical modules.
